Kitchen Sync is founded on a core value of inter-generational responsibility and the belief that even a small neighborhood restaurant has a role to play in what we leave behind for our children.
In organic farming circles there is a wisdom of “feed the soil not the plant.” In giving back to the systems and communities upon which Kitchen Sync depends we aspire to simultaneously nourish the soils in which our business is rooted: socially, economically, and ecologically.

We are Greenville’s first and only Green Certified Restaurant, and in 2018 we earned top honors in the Green Restaurant Association’s annual awards competition as the #1 Independently-Owned Green Certified Restaurant in the United States and #1 for Water Conservation. Maintaining such high ratings is a testament to the diligence of our entire staff who go the extra mile to ensure Kitchen Sync leaves the smallest footprint possible on the environments that feed us.
